Headquartered in New York City Authentic has offices in major metropolitan cities including Los Angeles and Miami as well as Toronto Mexico City London and Shanghai.As a Sales and Licensing Specialist youll be a part of Authentics Business Development training program where youll be trained in the nuts and bolts of the brand licensing business. Youll be mentored by experienced internal leaders who will advise and help you succeed and develop exceptional business acumen. As a Business Development Specialist you will be trained and assist in generating new business by identifying and qualifying leads to join Authentics global network of licensing partners in the wholesale retail and online marketplace sectors. You will receive organizational support in driving prospecting efforts through lead generation tools and collaborating with our teams. Authentic is growing fast and you will help increase the distribution of our diverse Entertainment portfolio. From identifying target licensing partners and executing top-notch qualification tactics you will gain 360-degree knowledge of expanding Authentics partnership universe. You will work closely with Brand Managers and Business Development executives to identify business growth opportunities and align those opportunities with a pool of prospective licensees. Your goal is to contact and present a compelling value proposition to target decision-makers and convert those prospects to leads through Authentics qualification process. You must love the thrill of the hunt and possess a strong focus on business opportunities and sales.What youll be working on:Identify and qualify leads within the licensing universe including manufacturers wholesalers retailers and digital marketplaces.Understand each brands value proposition in the Authentic portfolio and mold that into a compelling pitch to prospects.Establish and maintain an ongoing awareness of available merchandise categories across the portfolio and align those with target prospectsDevelop present and hand-over qualified leads to Authentic Business Development ExecutivesGrow Authentics partner database through continuous research identification and outreach to the licensing marketplaceAchieve target KPIs including qualified lead goals target pipeline contribution and outbound activityMust Haves:This is a junior-level position; at least one successful sales position with a proven record of achievement is required.
