POSITION: AUTOMOTIVE NEW CAR SALES MANAGER Store: Matt Bowers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Address: 1461 N Causeway Blvd Metairie LA 70001 What We Offer Competitive pay plan tied to department performance Full medical benefits (immediate during open enrollment) Strong inventory strong digital presence and strong leadership support A large sales floor with heavy traffic and repeat customers A dealership group committed to your success and long-term growth Stability reputation and the backing of the Matt Bowers Auto Group Key Responsibilities Forecast monthly and annual goals for sales gross and key expenses Hire train motivate and monitor all new-vehicle sales staff Build and manage the annual operating budget for the new-car department Stay compliant with all federal state and local regulations Schedule direct and properly staff the sales floor Assist sales consultants with goal setting and deal strategy Maintain a daily activity log and accurate sales control systems Ensure proper follow-up of all prospects and new-car buyers Conduct daily and weekly sales meetings Maintain a customer-focused team-oriented sales environment Provide ongoing product knowledge and training resources Oversee customer satisfaction efforts and CSI improvements Increase new-car gross and F&I penetration through coaching and process Help close deals when necessary Complete deal packets accurately and on time Set standards for vehicle delivery and follow-up appointments Monitor inventory mix turnover and recommend stocking levels Assist used-car department with trade appraisals Work with GSM and dealer on merchandising advertising and promotions Attend management meetings and uphold professional standards Qualifications Proven track record as a New Car Sales Manager or F&I / GSM / Desk Manager Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred 2 10 years of related automotive leadership experience Deep understanding of the automotive sales process and new-vehicle operations Strong leadership communication and organizational skills Ability to train motivate and influence a high-producing sales team Ability to interpret financials forecasts reports and industry metrics Must have a valid drivers license and state sales license Ideal Candidate High-energy organized and results-driven Excellent communicator with strong accountability standards Understands new-car inventory strategy OEM programs and incentives Strong closer who can develop people and build a winning culture Wants long-term career growth in a stable successful dealership group Apply today and take the lead at one of the strongest Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram stores in Louisiana.
