Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGlobe is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and grow our insurance sales function. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing and coaching the sales team, and ensuring high standards of client service and regulatory compliance. This role requires a combination of leadership, commercial acumen, and hands-on sales capability in an in-person team environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue, growth, and retention objectives.Recruit, onboard, mentor, and manage a small sales team; set clear performance expectations and provide regular coaching and feedback.Establish sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs); monitor performance and produce regular reports for senior management.Support sales representatives in complex client conversations, negotiations, and closings; escalate and resolve client issues as needed to maintain satisfaction and trust.Foster a client-centric culture focused on needs assessment, suitable product recommendations, and long-term relationships.Collaborate with product, underwriting, and compliance functions to ensure offerings meet client needs and regulatory requirements.Drive prospecting and business development initiatives, including networking and community engagement efforts.Stay current on industry trends, product changes, and regulatory developments to inform sales approaches and team training.RequirementsProven experience in insurance sales and in managing or leading a sales team; demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding targets.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop relationships with clients and coach team members effectively.Analytical skills to interpret sales metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.Valid insurance license in the relevant jurisdiction or willingness to obtain required licensing.Familiarity with CRM systems and standard sales tools; comfortable with reporting and performance tracking.Ability to work on-site and participate in community or client-facing events as required.BenefitsCompetitive salary with performance-based bonusesFlexible schedulingOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesSupportive team environment with a focus on work-life balanceReferral programRetirement planEmployment type: Full-time
