Job Description

Position: Sales / Parts Specialist
Location: Columbus, NE
Pay Rate: $18.00-20.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Additional Hours: Potential Saturdays, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

We're looking for a motivated Sales/Parts Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. In this role, you'll partner closely with internal retail associates and field teams to deliver an exceptional purchasing experience. Strong communication, attention to detail and a team-first mindset are key. We work hard, support one another and still find ways to have fun while getting the job done.

What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers consistently exceeding expectations

  • Assist customers with replacement parts both in person and over the phone

  • Maintain accurate parts inventory levels, including posting, tracking turns and spot-checking inventory

  • Support merchandising execution through effective decision-making

  • Utilize computer systems for inventory management, recordkeeping and parts information

  • Establish and control inventory systems across locations

  • Monitor and promote online sales

  • Assist other locations as needed to support overall operations

  • Ensure products are stocked and delivered on time to meet customer objectives

  • Anticipate parts needs for promotions, trends and future stock orders

  • Work with retail and wholesale customers on credit applications, pricing negotiations and complaint resolution

  • Maintain strong knowledge of manufacturer's new and recent products

  • Collaborate effectively with parts counterpersons, technicians, managers and customers

  • Perform special assignments and other duties as required

What We're Looking For
  • Associate Degree preferred

  • 2+ years of merchandising and/or retail experience preferred

  • 1+ year of parts sales or agricultural experience preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and web-based applications

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Detail-oriented, analytical and capable of creative problem-solving

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently as part of a team and directly with customers

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and comfort in a high-energy environment

Physical & Work Environment
  • Role involves frequent walking and interaction with customers and technicians

  • Regular analysis of inventory, back orders and system accuracy
