Were looking for someone with a passion for design, a deep understanding of custom furniture, and a drive to deliver exceptional customer experiences.About the RoleAs a Custom Furniture Sales Professional, youll work one-on-one with customers to bring their vision to life from choosing styles, fabrics, and finishes to finalizing custom orders with our premium brands like Smith Brothers, and Mavin. Youll also assist with showroom presentation, product knowledge training, and maintaining high visual standards.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with customers to identify their needs and guide them through the custom design processPresent furniture and upholstery options with confidence and professionalismWrite up and manage custom orders accurately and efficientlyBuild long-term relationships with repeat customers through outstanding servicePerform consistent sales follow-up tasks, including:Following up on quotes and design proposalsContacting customers after delivery to ensure satisfactionMaintaining a pipeline of leads and tracking open opportunitiesSending thank-you notes and personalized check-ins to past customersProactively reaching out about new collections or promotionsMaintain current knowledge of product lines, trends, and lead timesCollaborate with the store manager and design team on displays and showroom layoutsAchieve and exceed personal and store sales goalsQualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in furniture sales, interior design, or related fieldStrong knowledge of custom furniture brands and construction detailsExcellent communication and customer service skillsOrganized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projectsComfortable working with design tools and order systemsPositive attitude and a team-player mindsetWhat We OfferCompetitive base pay plus commissionEmployee discounts on furniture, appliances, and mattressesSupportive, family-owned environment focused on growth and teamworkOpportunities for advancement within our multi-location businessIf you have a passion for helping customers create beautiful, comfortable homes we want to meet you!
