Job Description

Position Summary:

This is a sales position responsible for promoting the company's products and services while building relationships with new and existing high influence Local Contract Customer (LCC) accounts and Corporate Multi Unit (CMU) accounts. The primary focus is to help Sysco customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals established by the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Add product lines to existing customers by identifying opportunities and incorporate team selling activities.

  • Developing and delivering sales bids/proposals/presentations and conducting product demonstrations with key decision makers

  • Execute National Sales Team strategy and collaborate on opportunities to obtain new lines and recover lost lines of business

  • Identify opportunities to improve customer account profitability

  • Manage accurate sales pipeline, consultative activities, and customer contact information in CRM tool

  • Support quarterly business reviews with local customer headquarters to discuss joint opportunities to grow sales and improve profitability

  • Ensure customer contract compliance and define action plans to align to MSA representations

  • Provide consultative services by providing market trends and insights, identifying integration points with Specialty Companies (Fresh Point, European Imports, SOTF, Buckhead)

  • Engage the Customer Experience Team to escalate all customer issues

Qualifications:

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience with multi-location food service concepts

  • Previous Sysco experience preferred

  • 5+ years of experience with multi-location food service concepts preferred

  • Restaurant management / chef experience preferred

Education

  • High school diploma or 5 years of Sysco equivalent experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

CERTIFICATE S, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid driver's license with a "clean" driving record (including no multiple DUIs within the last 2 years)

  • Current automobile insurance with the following limits of liability: Bodily injury - $100,000 each person and $300,000 each accident; property damage - $100,000 is required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Submit to pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check)

  • Must sign Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement

  • Reside or willing to relocate to the geographical vicinity of territory

  • This position will require regular travel utilizing personal vehicle and may result in longs periods of sitting.
