DescriptionJOB SUMMARYThe Senior Director Global Consulting role leads strategic programs and projects for Marriott International that span cross-disciplines and drive enterprise KPIs. The Senior Director will both oversee a small team of internal consultants and engagements and independently drive complex programs and projects aligned to strategic priorities for the company.Success in this role requires strong critical thinking ability to manage complex stakeholder interactions a proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time as well as willingness to be tested on difficult projects and initiatives. The Senior Director serves as a coach and mentor to develop team members into high-performing internal consultants as well as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leaders to deliver meaningful and impactful value to the enterprise.CANDIDATE PROFILEEducation and ExperienceRequiredBachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration Hospitality Management or related majorTen or more years experience in strategy development brand management marketing strategy or product managementExperience managing and defining transformational strategies for business unitsPreferredMBA or equivalentExperience in the lodging / hospitality sectorCORE WORK ACTIVITIESEngage with clients and internal teams to understand their needs provide regular updates and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.Oversee the allocation of resources including team members and budget to ensure optimal utilization and project efficiency while addressing any resource constraints or conflicts.Present innovative insights and strategic recommendations to senior leaders clearly and concisely using data-driven narratives to support decision-making and drive alignment.Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize organize and accomplish work ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
