Provide strategic oversight for system configuration complex integrations automation and governance collaborating with the Technology & Innovation division and cross functional teams to deliver a robust mission-critical platform. Perform other duties as required.Core Activities:Platform Architecture & ConfigurationDesign custom objects and fields across Nonprofit Cloud Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud to ensure scalable functionality aligned with IT policies.Platform Data FlowConfigure data flows between standard and custom objects and fields across Salesforce Clouds.Complex Integration ManagementBuild and update advanced integrations with external systems and APIs ensuring seamless data exchange and performance monitoring. Includes authentication data flow and integration monitoring tools.Maintain Salesforce standard connectors and integrations with tools like Tableau DocuSign Stripe Marketing Cloud Ticketure and Intacct.Change ManagementLead platform deployments and updates across sandbox and production environments using DevOps tools ensuring compatibility for Backup and Restore and Archive solutions. Coordinate and collaborate on deployment of changes using Salesforce change sets and GitHub pull requests.Release & Upgrade StrategyKeep up to date with the latest Salesforce features and releases to ensure backwards compatibility and seamless updates.Performance & Resilience MonitoringMonitor system logs scheduled jobs and performance metrics to maintain stability proactively addressing issues across all Clouds.Security & Compliance OversightPerform system-level permission audits audit trails and org-wide security settings including field history tracking and org-wide defaults as well as Backup and Restore and Archive compliance. Proactively set up processes to manage and protect customer and business data and enforce governance and support legal regulatory and internal security requirements.Advanced AutomationBuild complex flows and system-level automations to optimize backend processes enhancing efficiency across cross-functional teams.Preferred Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs):BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education training and experience; preferred in-depth course of study in computer scienceRequired: Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator and Platform App Builder57 years of Salesforce experienceExpertise in complex integrations and automationDemonstrated expertise with Salesforce CRM or Nonprofit Cloud Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud requiredA passion for sustainability applying eco-friendly practices like resource-efficient cloud configurations to align with our mission.Excellent at completing assigned tasks; attention to detail and has a high value for quality deliverablesAbility to maintain the highest level of security for confidential dataDemonstrates personal accountability leadership teamwork and initiativeAble to self-assess progress and reach out to supervisor or other engineers for assistance as neededAbility to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situationsAbility to work within and maintain Monterey Bay Aquariums Core ValuesResourceful tenacious and thoughtful problem solver who is able to complete assigned projects on timeUnderstanding of agile software development methodologyAdept communicator with clients stakeholders project managers and other engineersStrong level of common sense and a good sense of humor a positive Can-Do attitudeAbility to work within and maintain Monterey Bay Aquariums Core ValuesPhysical Requirements to Perform Essential Job Functions:Typical office equipmentConstant sitting standing walking bendingOccasional unassisted lifting up to 50 lbs.Typical office environment main aquarium and exhibits occasional offsite eventsAnnual Compensation Range:$107500-$137000 USD annually.
