Our 250 local customer service centers (CSCs) are supported by regional operations teams located throughout North America.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Lead to oversee the design development and implementation of Salesforce solutions across our enterprise environment. This role requires deep technical expertise in Salesforce architecture integration and customization as well as strong leadership capabilities to guide members of the Salesforce team and cross-functional team members. The ideal candidate will ensure our Salesforce platform aligns with business objectives scales effectively and adheres to best practices. As a technical lead you will also fill the Release Manager role on projects. The Release Manager is responsible for the deployment and release management strategy and its execution on projects. The Release Manager is responsible for ensuring all deployment and release management deliverables are completed on a project. You will work closely with the project team to make sure all work is being tracked and documented for deployment executions and will work with them to resolve any errors during deployments.Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership:Lead the design and development of custom code solutions which leverage Apex Javascript Visualforce and Lightning components across multiple Salesforce Clouds including Sales/Service Cloud Experience Cloud Account Engagement as well as Conga Contracts for Salesforce and Conga CPQ & Billing packagesLead the technical delivery of Salesforce implementationDevelop strategies to solve complex technical challengesResponsible for designing and implementing solutions that support business requirements and drive key decisions that improve processes and productivityDefine and enforce coding standards best practices and governance for Salesforce developmentServe as the primary technical point of contact for Salesforce-related initiativesSolution Architecture:Translate business requirements into technical designs and system architecture.Oversee integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using APIs middleware and ETL toolsEnsure data integrity security and compliance within the Salesforce ecosystemTeam ManagementCoach and mentor junior team membersConduct code reviews and provide technical feedback.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts project managers and QA.Release ManagementAct as project SME for all things deployment and release management (tools best practices maintaining source control etc.)Define managing & execute environment & deployment strategyRun data deployments (sandbox seeding) to test featuresRun final releases to production and be able to roll back or restore if neededInnovation and OptimizationStay current with Salesforce releases features and industry trends.Recommend and implement enhancements to improve system performance and user experience.Drive automation and efficiency through advanced Salesforce capabilities.Education:Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or related field.Experience:5 years of Salesforce development experience.3 years in a technical leadership or architect role within an enterprise environmentPrior experience with multiple Salesforce clouds - Sales/Service Cloud required; experience with Marketing Cloud and Congo CPQ/Billing preferred.Technical Skills:Deep expertise in Flow Builder and declarative development toolsStrong understanding of Salesforce security model and data architectureExperience building technical artifacts including Salesforce configuration design documents and technical design documentsExperience executing deployments and use of DevOps toolsRevenue Cloud (CPQ/Billing) experience or certifications preferred.Proficiency in Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce APIs.Experience with integration toolsCertificationsSalesforce Advanced Administrator (required)Salesforce Platform Developer II (required)Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect (preferred)Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer (preferred)Summit School Services has a zero-tolerance policy on conduct that is incompatible with its policies and values including sexual exploitation and abuse harassment abuse of authority and discrimination.
