Overview: TekWissen is a global workforce management provider headquartered in Ann Arbor Michigan that offers strategic talent solutions to our clients world-wide Our client is an American food company formed by the merger of client Food and the third-largest food and beverage company in North America Position: Sample Handling Coordinator Location: Glenview IL 60025 Duration: 6 Months Job Type: Temporary Assignment Work Type: Onsite Job Description: Summary: Temporary hands on role to sort archived samples handle transport and store confidential consumer complaint samples per SOPs maintaining chain of custody and temperature integrity between room temp and freezing conditions. Key responsibilities: Inspect label log and sort archived complaint samples; treat all documentation as confidential. Re-arrange samples in approved bins and ensure packaging and temperature control. Securely store complaint samples in designated access controlled areas and follow disposition or return procedures. Maintain chain of custody accurately log sample movements in tracking systems and complete required paperwork. Comply with PPE biosafety materials and data privacy protocols as applicable. Required qualifications: Strong attention to detail reliable recordkeeping and basic computer/data entry skills. Hands on sample handling experience and strict SOP adherence. Able to lift 50 lbs perform repetitive tasks and do basic data entry; safety/confidentiality training required. Work conditions: Indoor facility with refrigerated/freezer areas (e.g. -20 C if applicable). Flexible scheduling; contract length TBD. Must Haves: Ability to follow SOPs precisely.
