Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: Sandblaster/PainterQualifications: High School Diploma or GED Diploma preferred. Some years of experience with painting and sandblasting a plus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Promotes, executes and adheres to the companys safety program.Selects the appropriate paint or mix paints according to a pre-determined formula.Operates equipment to clean, wash, strip, and sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise prepare fabricated steel items for application of paint and or other protective coatings.Operates spray, dip or flow coating equipment or other painting or product coating equipment as required.Paints small items and apply touch-ups as required.Cleans and maintains painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment.Applies abrasive and chemicals by using Handheld Spray Nozzles, Blasting Hoses, Brush Painting, etc.Operates equipment to prepare steel for application of protective coatings.Operates equipment to spray or coat.Assists in loading and unloading of trucks.May operate hand tools and power tools including, but not limited to hammer, saws, screwdrivers, levels, drills etc.Performs general job site custodial work, cleaning construction debris, moving debris, and general housekeeping.Performs other construction duties or task as required based on companys needs.You will receivean email to confirm your applicationis received.Sealevel Construction Inc. is an at-will employer who fully supports and practices the principles of equal employment opportunity and strictly prohibits any form of unlawful discrimination.
