We are continually working to be an employer of choice.Job Skills / RequirementsThe Sanitation lead is responsible for all activities involved in maintaining the cleanliness and food safe environment of the processing facility surrounding area and equipment. Leads motivates and develops sanitation staff to achieve outstanding sanitation results.COMPENSATION: $22 /hrDUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSParticipate in the Supervision of hourly employeesPerform all sanitor job functions while demonstrating proper execution of the 7 steps of sanitationRecognize and report any situation that could affect the safety of an employeeTrain sanitation employees to achieve and maintain sanitation objectives assigned by the supervisor/ managerOrganize and distribute tasks to the employeesMonitor supplies and parts as neededEnsure all Sanitation techs are following company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.Communicate with customers Quality Maintenance and Production teams to ensure that there is no delay in startup or changeoverResponsible for monitoring the mixing and handling of chemicals in their designated areaClean areas effectively by minimizing production downtime and damage caused to the equipment.Participate in pre-op briefs and correct findingsREQUIREMENTSMust have a minimum of 2-year sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment.Must demonstrate knowledge of 7 steps of sanitation.Experience with regulatory inspectors (AIB BRC OSHA Military Health Department EPA City & County Inspectors).
