The ideal candidate will focus on designing developing and optimizing high-performance data models and database logic. You will translate complex business requirements into technical solutions using SAP HANA native modeling (Calculation Views) and SQLScript ensuring efficient data processing and reporting capabilities.   Job Description: 100% Onsite role San Jose CASAP HANA Native Developer5 years of hands-on experience in SAP HANA Native Development.  Key Responsibilities 1. Data Modeling & Development Design and develop complex Calculation Views (Graphical and Script-based) to support analytical reporting and business logic.Create and maintain optimized Stored Procedures Table Functions Scalar Functions and complex SQL scripts within SAP HANA Studio and Web IDE.Design and define table structures sequences and triggers suited for column-store processing.Utilize HDI containers and Web IDE/Business Application Studio for XSA development where applicable.2. Performance Tuning & Optimization Analyze and tune SQL queries and Calculation Views for optimal performance.Utilize HANA PlanViz SQL Trace and Expensive Statements analysis to identify bottlenecks and reduce memory footprint/execution time.Implement data partitioning strategies for large tables to improve data access and management.3. Data Integration & Provisioning Implement data virtualization using SDA or SDI for remote data source connectivity.Collaborate with ETL teams (SAP Data Services/SLT) to design efficient data flow logic and transformation rules.4. Security & Governance Implement robust data security models including Analytic Privileges and Role design.Adhere to best practices for naming conventions transport management and version control.5. Collaboration & Documentation Work with Functional Consultants and Business Analysts to understand functional specifications.Prepare Technical Specification Documents data flow diagrams and unit test scripts.  Required Skills and Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.Experience: 5 years of SAP HANA Native Development.Technical Competencies Expert in Calculation Views (Dimension Cube Star Join) with input parameters/variables.Strong SQLScript expertise including imperative logic temporary tables and dynamic SQL.Proficient in SAP HANA Studio and SAP Web IDE.Strong understanding of HANA user management roles and analytic privileges.Skilled in troubleshooting performance issues using PlanViz.Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred QualificationsSAP Certified Development Associate SAP HANA. Additional Information : All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Remote Work : NoEmployment Type : Contract Key Skills Computer Science,User Exits,Business Process,SQL,BDC,MM,PM,Workflow,PI,ABAP,Technical Specifications,Sap Bw,Java,Odata,Computer Engineering Experience: years Vacancy: 1
