SAP IS-U Functional Analyst – Data Migration & Validation at VDart Inc

Job Title: SAP IS-U Functional Analyst Data Migration & Validation Job Location: Coral Gables FL 33134 Job Type: Long-term contract Job Purpose The SAP IS-U Functional Analyst will analyze business processes and practices to support the design and implementation of information technology solutions aligned with business needs and strategic initiatives. This role requires an advanced level of functional expertise and problem-solving ability with responsibility for guiding technical teams shaping best practices and delivering innovative solutions. The primary focus of this position is to support the Project XD Data Migration workstream by leading data validation activities training manual testers and building/using reports to ensure that migrated data is complete accurate and aligned with business expectations. Key Responsibilities Support the Project XD Data Migration workstream as a subject matter expert in SAP IS-U. Lead train and mentor manual data validation testers to ensure accurate and effective data review processes. Build deploy and utilize reports to validate data during mock conversions and full data migration cycles. Analyze business processes identify gaps and define solutions that align with functional and technical requirements. Apply advanced analytical and functional skills to resolve complex issues within SAP IS-U. Interpret business needs and propose best practices to improve data migration accuracy and overall system reliability. Work independently with minimal guidance providing leadership in the most complex situations. Collaborate closely with Programmer/Analysts and cross-functional teams to ensure successful migration outcomes. Serve as a recognized expert within the organization for SAP IS-U data processes and validation methodologies. May lead functional sub-teams or project areas as needed. Required Qualifications Extensive experience as an SAP IS-U Functional Analyst preferably with a focus on data migration or data validation. Strong understanding of SAP IS-U data structures utilities processes and integration points. Demonstrated ability to train and guide manual testing teams. Experience creating modifying and leveraging reports for data validation during migration cycles. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business and technical requirements. Proven track record of solving complex problems and identifying innovative solutions. Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting large-scale SAP implementation or upgrade initiatives. Previous involvement in multi-phase data migration projects. Familiarity with data quality profiling and reconciliation tools. Understanding of utility industry processes and regulatory requirements.
