Job Description

Working with the project team, a team of Subject Matter Experts, and SI partners, as the SAP Technical Lead, will be responsible for driving and influencing technical design decisions. Responsible for technical ownership of all the specified technology and has overall accountability for ensuring technical build and operations of the follows client standards and meets best practices for technical requirements and aligns with industry best practices. Will be the default SAP point of technical contact to work directly with business and technology teams to support the business operations, technical request design and delivery, and data integration efforts. Understand the current state and help with strategy for the future. Participate in design workshops to identify and help resolve design issues and recommended process design changes within the specified module and the associated workstream. Will also partner with other workstreams. Review and validate the detailed technical strategy for business applications. Validates estimates. Writes technical specs for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF) objects.Key Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions; define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
  • To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
  • To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
  • To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
