This role is responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing industrial and commercial weighing equipment at customer sites and in our service facility.QualificationsWilling to learnExcellent customer service skillsExcellent problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detailStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsThis position requires a high school diploma or equivalentKnowledge of machines and tools, electronic equipment, related hardware and software, including their uses, repair, and maintenanceBasic electronic and mechanical knowledge, including working knowledge of a digital multimeterCDL CLASS B and NYS Weights & Measures certification a plusResponsibilitiesProvide installation, calibration, and field service repair on weighing equipment using testing devices, gauges, and other tools and equipmentCheck work orders and related manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams to determine tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation or repair assignmentComplete job hazard analysis, ensuring safety protocols and PPE are in place before starting any taskTest electrical components and replace faulty componentsProperly maintain all equipment, tools, and facilities for safe operationAccurate and timely completion of all reportingAdvise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, or suggestions for product/service improvementsFollow all Federal, State, and local regulations, and Company Safety policiesRepresent Scales, Sales & Service professionally and ethically at all timesKeep up with technology changes to products as introduced
