Job Title: Scanning Group Manager Location: Remote (US), Metro Detroit Area Preferred Company: Production Modeling Corporation (PMC) PMC is a leading engineering services firm specializing in reality capture, laser scanning, and BIM. We provide the critical data that powers design and construction projects globally. The Role: We are seeking a hands-on leader to manage our field scanning operations and post-processing team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality data, mentoring staff, and ensuring seamless project execution from capture to handoff. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage field scanning and post-processing teams. Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance. Train and mentor team members in field techniques and processing workflows. Process and register scan data using FARO Scene. Ensure accurate point cloud handoff to modeling teams. Enforce strict safety and quality standards. Qualifications: 5+ years in laser scanning, surveying, or reality capture. Proven experience leading technical/field teams. High proficiency with FARO Scene. Strong practical survey background (field & office). Excellent communication, organizational, and mentoring skills.
