In addition to supporting our clients, families, and community members, we are committed to providing a safe, rewarding, and enjoyable employee experience, as none of this is possible without a talented, dedicated, and motivated team of RBTs and BCBAs.About the Role:We are looking for energetic, creative, and dedicated RBTs to work one-on-one with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism in schools in and around the Plainfield, IN area. As an RBT, your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). You will play a crucial role in helping clients develop and improve their social, communication, and behavioral skills. By implementing evidence-based interventions and strategies, you will contribute to the overall well-being and progress of individuals with ASD. Your work will have a direct impact on the lives of your clients and their families, as you help them navigate the challenges associated with ASD and promote their independence and inclusion in society.Minimum Qualifications:Active RBT Certification through the BACBExperience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilitiesKnowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniquesExperience working as an ABA Therapist or in a similar roleHigh school diploma or GEDBe at least 18 years of age (per BACB licensure requirements)Clear background checkMust be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (i.e. kneeling, sitting – in both a chair and on the floor, squatting, standing, etc.) for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 30 pounds unassistedStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with diverse populations and cultural sensitivityAt least one year working as an RBT in a school settingCPR and First Aid certificationResponsibilities:Supporting classroom teachers in providing a safe, organized environment for effective learning to occurTeaching expressive and receptive communication skills through the use of applied behavior analysis and verbal behavior techniques as outlined in the client's daily lesson planTeaching of daily living skills such as dressing, toileting, hand washing, toothbrushing, feeding, and other hygiene related tasksEntering data on teaching trials and behavior goals into Catalyst, an iPad programFollowing individualized behavior plans written by the client's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and IEPs written by the child's interdisciplinary teamCommunicating with teachers, paraprofessionals, and caregivers through objective, data driven notesUpholding the Registered Behavior Technician Ethics Code
