Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in Texas is required
• Previous experience as a school counselor or background in counseling within educational settings is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, families, and staff
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt across diverse age groups
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable working in multi-campus settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions to students, supporting their social-emotional and behavioral needs
• Partner with educators and school leadership to coordinate student support and intervention plans
• Maintain confidential, accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
• serve as a resource for students navigating academic pressures, social challenges, and transitional periods
• Participate in team meetings and actively contribute to a positive school climate

Role Details:

• Contract duration: August 12, 2025 - May 21, 2027
• Scheduled for 16 hours each week
• Serve approximately 30 students across five campuses (caseload mix of elementary and middle school)
