JOB DESCRIPTION
Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers the chance to work closely with elementary and middle school students across multiple campuses, helping empower them with crucial skills for academic and social success. The contract runs from August 12, 2025, through May 21, 2027, ensuring a stable, rewarding experience over nearly two academic years.
Key Qualifications:
- Active LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in Texas-required
- Experience working as a school counselor or in student support roles
- Skill in providing guidance and intervention to children and adolescents
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability and organizational skills, especially in managing a mixed caseload across several campuses
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling services for students in both elementary and middle school settings
- Assess student needs and develop proactive strategies for academic and emotional support
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify concerns and solutions
- Support crisis intervention and referrals as appropriate
- Help cultivate a positive, inclusive school culture across approximately five campuses
- Maintain detailed, confidential documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
