Position Overview

As a School Nurse, you will be responsible for promoting student health, managing medical needs, and ensuring a safe school environment for all students.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid and daily health needs
• Administer medications and maintain accurate health records
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies)
• Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student health
• Respond to medical emergencies and ensure proper protocols are followed
• Educate students and staff on health, wellness, and prevention

What You Need

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (state-specific)
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or community health preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
