Work Schedule/Locations: Highland Goffes Falls Elementary - 3 days per weekMcDonough Elementary -1 day per weekParker Varney Elementary - 1 day per weekTheManchester School Districtoffers a full benefits package to all eligible employees including:Anthem Medical insuranceAnthem Vision insuranceDelta Dental insuranceCompany funded HSA for select Anthem health plansFlexible spending accountsRetirement pension planTuition ReimbursementGym ReimbursementCompany sponsored life insurance403(b) tax sheltered annuity planVision discountsMedical incentive rewardsEmployee assistance programMany more.Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:Masters Degree in school psychology or equivalent.Completed 45 graduate hours in school psychology or related area in addition to an internship.Have completed no less than a 500-clock hour supervised internship with school age persons.Meets competency requirements set forth in Districts personnel standards as required under 34 CFR 300.23 and 34 CFR 300.136.Requirements as set by the State of New Hampshire Certification Authorities and Board of School Committee regulations.Valid drivers license and own transportationSpecific Core Function: To administer a variety of psycho-educational instruments to students who are experiencing difficulties (academic or behavioral) in the classroom. To help the schools determine if a student is eligible for special education services.Reponsibilities of the Position:Provide intellectual academic behavioral and personality evaluations for individuals ages 3-21Provide psychological evaluations of disabled or potentially disabled students ages 3-21 through:Interviews with relevant persons;Administration of diagnostic instruments;Integration of information and preparation for presentation to teams;Interpretation of findings to students teachers parent(s) and team membersPreparation of written reportsPrepare educational and behavioral plans based on diagnostic dataProvide consultation and assistance to IEP teamProvide consultation services to teachers and studentsProvide behavioral intervention services to students as neededProvide individual and/or group counseling services to studentsLead group counseling for educationally disabled students as neededParticipate in writing individual education plans for educationally disabled students being seen for individual or group counselingSpecified Length/Hours of Position:This is an affiliated (MEA) position under the Teacher Association negotiated contract following the school calendar with additional workshop days.Application Procedure:The Manchester School District uses this Applicant Tracking on-line application platform please visit our site: The Manchester School Districts website Key Skills Experience Working With Students,Classroom Management,Algebra,Behavior Management,Classroom Experience,Computer Operation,EDI,Lesson Planning,Special Education,Teaching,Cordova,Writing Skills Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
