Job DescriptionScientist R&D Product DevAs an R&D Scientist you will have the opportunity to drive innovation renovation andmaintenance of product lines enabling growth and ensuring quality objectives andbusiness continuity for Kraft Heinz. Your role will involve prioritizing and executing technicalprojects that contribute to the ongoing projects and Innovation Pipeline for the business.From crafting and performing tests to analyzing data presenting results cross-functionallyand commercializing pipeline opportunities. This position offers an excellent opportunity tosupport innovation to enhance our global Kraft Heinz portfolio.Whats on the menu This role has responsibility for developing new product formulations portfoliorenovation and customer product solutions across various product lines with focuson condiments and sauces. Adapt and apply scientific principles to new situations/products with some degreeof autonomy manage your project work and accomplished tasks by taking detailednotes in a lab notebook (hardcopy and/or electronically) while maintaining a cleanand functional workspace. Inspect food processing areas to ensure compliancewith government regulations and standards for sanitation safety quality and wastemanagement. Work from ideation to commercialization from benchtop samples to finalproduction and from raw material to finished product specification. Develop foodstandards and production specifications safety and sanitary regulations and wastemanagement and water supply specifications. Manage multiple assignments/development projects concurrently to meet R&Dtimelines. Work with cross functional teams to support projects from concept tocommercialization including Marketing Operations Quality ExternalManufacturers and Procurement. Confer with process engineers plant operatorsflavor experts and packaging and marketing specialists to resolve problems inproduct development. Build strong relationships and collaborate with internal and external colleagues tooptimize new product development processes. Utilize ingredient and process knowledge experimental design and datainterpretation tools to make technically sound recommendations. Sample preparation cuttings analytical analysis and shipments.
