Our capabilities include multi-spindle screw machines, CNC turning, grinding, and vertical machining centers.Screw Machinist Position OverviewThey are seeking experienced and motivated individuals to set up and operate single and multi-spindle screw machines. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality parts efficiently.ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and maintain multi-spindle screw machines using established procedures and layoutsPerform tooling adjustments, tool changes, and minor machine repairsRead and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments and gaugesSubmit first-piece samples to the quality department and perform in-process inspectionsMaintain clean and safe work areas in accordance with company standardsParticipate in continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and qualityFollow all safety and quality policies within our ISO 9001:2015 certified systemExperience with Acme screw machines requiredMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs.Screw Machinist QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDMechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to read blueprints and use micrometers and other precision toolsMust provide own basic tools and micrometersMust pass a drug screen and background checkBasic math test administered during interviewSchedule1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.2nd Shift: 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.Monday – Friday (overtime available)Benefits401(k) with company matchFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Life insurancePaid vacation and holidaysWeekly paySend resume to Mary Jane Evans #cthzjb #machinist
