At SanMar the work you do makes a difference.Whats the Short VersionThe Scrum Master plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of Agile principles and practices within the organization. This position is responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration transparency and continuous improvement. The Scrum Master facilitates the Scrum process removes impediments and promotes self-organization within the development team.What Will You Be DoingLead and facilitate planning sessions daily stand-ups project reviews and retrospectives.Ensure that the Scrum framework is understood adopted and consistently applied by the development team.Coach and mentor the development team on Agile and Scrum principles.Foster a collaborative and self-organizing culture within the team to include trust respect and accountability.Remove impediments and facilitate resolution of issues to keep the team focused on delivering high-quality products.Act as a bridge between the development team and stakeholders.Facilitate communication and collaboration between the team and product owners ensuring that project priorities and requirements are clear.Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.Conduct regular retrospectives to review and improve team performance.Track and report key Agile metrics such as team velocity sprint progress and release burndown to stakeholders.Ensure transparency into the teams progress and performance.Identify and address potential risks and issues that may impact the teams ability to deliver on commitments.Collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure successful project delivery.Perform other duties as assigned.Comply with all policies and standards.What Are We Looking ForBachelors Degree Information Technology Business or related discipline or equivalent experience1-3 years proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environmentsExperience with other Agile frameworks (Kanban XP etc.)Familiarity with project management tools (ADO Jira etc.)Knowledge of software development practices and methodologiesSAFe Scrum Master Certification or equivalentStrong understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum frameworkExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt to a changing environment and facilitate changeCommitment to customer serviceSolid analytical and reasoning skills and proven ability to develop solutions to complex problemsAbility to explain technical concepts to non-technical individualsEmpathy and emotional intelligenceWhats Our Offer Salary Range: Youll earn between $100000 - $140000 annually depending on experience.Bonus: Youll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.Paid Time Off: Youll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.Additional Benefits:Comprehensive medical dental and vision benefits401k plan and matches $1 for $1 up to 4% of earnings matched & vested at every pay cycleLife insuranceShort/long-term disability coveragePaid maternity/paternity leavePet insuranceWhat Should You ExpectHybrid: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. SanMars Eastpointe office is located near Seattle WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST.
