Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Country Club of Rochester is a prestigious Platinum Club of America and one of the country's oldest clubs with deep roots in the community. We are seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to fill the Seasonal Line Cook Position!Job Summary:Under the guidance and supervision of the Chef de Cuisine, the Seasonal Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items during the seasonal period. This role includes maintaining established standards, ensuring a clean and organized work environment, and contributing positively to the culinary team. The position may also involve working as a Poolside Grill Cook, preparing casual menu items and operating basic kitchen equipment.Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare food items in accordance with CCR recipes and quality standards.Learn to prepare menu items like burgers, wraps, salads, and sides following simple recipes and standards.Operate kitchen equipment, such as grills and fryers (training provided).Assemble dishes with attention to detail and quality.Set up and stock service units with required items for service.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned workstations and equipment.Assist with prep tasks like portioning ingredients and restocking supplies.Work with your team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.Set up and break down cooking stations at the beginning and end of service.Required Skills and Abilities:A positive attitude and willingness to learn.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Skilled in preparing and serving food items that meet Club standards.Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs.No prior kitchen experience needed—training provided.Education and Experience:Previous experience in a culinary setting is preferred but not required.Seasonal Details:This position is for the summer and runs from May15th to September 1st.Advantages of being a CCR team member include:Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits for Full Time employees!Free Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance for Full Time employees!401k with up to 5% Employer Match available to both Full Time and Part Time Employees!Free Lunch and/or Dinner during your shift!Free Golf on Mondays!Many Employee Discounts through LifeMart!
