Because we all understand that we must work together to win.Are you ready for a better career A better futureWere Lear For You.SEAT ASSEMBLER 3rd SHIFTDUNCAN SC DUNCAN PLANT As a member of the production team the Seat assembler will be responsible forassembling and/or fitting parts together to form complete units or subassemblies at a bench or conveyor line. May include operations requiring the use of simple hand tools and/or power or special assembly tools. The Role:Your work will include but not be limited to:The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds Repetitive gripping and use of handsFrequently required to stand walk sit and reach with hands and armsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a teamUse hand and power tools to assemble seat components according to specifications and instructionsIdentify and report any problems related to the product process and quality systemAssure Safety and Quality standards are followed at all times Maintain a clean and organized work area by adhering to Lears 5S and World Class Housekeeping standardsCollaborate with team members to achieve production goals performance goals and objectivesAdvantages of working for Lear at the Duncan Plant:Affordable Health Vision and Dental plansLife and AD&D InsurancePaid vacation days and holidaysTuition ReimbursementShift premiums for 3rd shiftYour Qualifications:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements of drug screen physical and background check.One year of related experience preferredMust be 18 years of age or olderBonus If You Have:One year of related experience Key Skills Hand Tools,Calipers,Basic Math,Warehouse Experience,Mechanical Knowledge,Assembly Experience,Schematics,Heavy Lifting,Soldering,Power Tools,Manufacturing,Woodworking Employment Type : Part-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
