With three distinct business unitsConsumer Products Enterprise Solutions and Blockstream Asset Management.Were seeking an experienced SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager to join our growing accounting & finance team during a transformative period and prepare for public market readiness. Reporting directly to the VP Corporate Controller youll play a key leadership role in preparing the company for public market compliance and overseeing the annual and quarterly consolidated financial audit process.This position is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be at the forefront of Bitcoins mainstream adoption while building expertise in the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency accounting landscape.What You Will Be Doing (Responsibilities):Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and related SEC filings (Forms 10-Q 10-K 8-K) including MD&A & XBRL tagging and cryptocurrency-specific disclosuresBuild automated dashboards integrating financial metrics from the Consumer Enterprise and Asset Management divisionsCoordinate with external auditors as part of a PCAOB audit including audit procedures related to Bitcoin custody controls and blockchain reconciliationsWrite technical accounting memosMonitor new accounting pronouncements under U.S. GAAP and lead implementation of applicable standardsResponsible for the preparation and coordination of all internal and external financial reporting ensuring compliance with government and other regulatory requirementsSupport IPO preparation SOX compliance implementation CECL modeling M&A debt and equity transactions.What We Look For In You (Required Qualifications):Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field and CPA certification required5-7 years of relevant accounting experience with at least 2-3 years in SEC reporting public accounting or cryptocurrency/fintechStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP SEC regulations financial reporting standards and memo creationAdvanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets to support SEC filings and disclosure preparationExperience with NetSuite or similar ERP systemsProven ability to implement new accounting standards and complex reporting processesExcellent analytical project management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiencesNice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications):Big 4 or national firm experience with focus on financial services or technology clientsPython and SQL skills for data analysis and automationUnderstanding of Bitcoin Lightning Network and sidechain technologiesExperience with digital asset accounting blockchain transactions or cryptocurrency exchangesExperience with multi-business unit companies and segment reportingPrevious SOX compliance experience preferably for technology or financial services companiesPay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below.
