The school has prepared over 12,000 graduates to lead fulfilling and productive lives and is expanding to serve more students. MHS is seeking a Secondary Scheduling Curriculum Supervisor. The role combines secondary academic scheduling leadership with oversight of student academic intervention and support programming, requiring both systems-level operational thinking and strong collaboration with instructional and student services teams. This Supervisor leads the strategic design, planning, and execution of the grades 912 master academic schedule, ensuring alignment with instructional priorities, student needs, and graduation requirements. This role collaborates with scholastic administration, curriculum supervisors, Career and Technical Education (CTE) staff, teachers, and the Graduate Programs for Success (GPS) team to deliver an equitable, responsive, and effective secondary schedule. The Supervisor also provides scheduling support for grades 58 to promote continuity between middle and senior divisions. In addition, the role oversees the Learning Assistance Team (LAT) caseload for students transitioning into grade 9 and monitors their progress through grade 12, ensuring coordinated academic and wellbeing support. This is a twelve-month on-site position. The position compensates between $96,000 and $129,000, plus an excellent benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the grades 912 master schedule, ensuring alignment with instructional goals, staffing, student needs, and graduation pathways.
- Collaborate with scholastic leaders, curriculum supervisors, CTE staff, and GPS to ensure equitable access to courses and programs.
- Provide scheduling support for grades 58 to strengthen alignment across divisions.
- Oversee LAT caseloads for incoming 9th graders and monitor student progress through grade 12.
- Partner with Student Health Services, Scholastic, Home Life, Student Life, and GPS to coordinate academic and wellbeing support systems.
- Communicate scheduling processes, timelines, and updates to students, staff, and parent sponsors.
- Analyze data to inform scheduling decisions, resource allocation, and student support planning.
- Support schoolwide initiatives that promote student success, graduation readiness, and holistic development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, master's degree in education, educational leadership, or related field preferred.
- Experience as a middle school or high school counselor with complex scheduling responsibilities.
- Knowledge of master scheduling systems, student information systems, and course planning processes.
- Experience supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
