Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSeeking a Security Controls Technician for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Meridian, MS. This position will require travel throughout the U.S. based on project availability.This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k!  Pay is between $28 - $30 per hour (based on experience)This role involves installing, wiring, and troubleshooting security control systems within correctional facilities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in control panel installation, PLC cabinets, and low-voltage electrical work, along with the ability to travel extensively.Responsibilities:Install, terminate, and test security electronic systems, control panels, and related equipmentInstall and wire PLC cabinets, including Siemens and Allen-Bradley panelsPerform wire tracing, continuity checks, and multimeter diagnosticsRead and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentationRun, label, and organize low-voltage and 120V wiringEnsure system functionality, reliability, and compliance with safety standardsTravel extensively to job sites throughout Mississippi and surrounding regionsCollaborate with project managers, electricians, and facility staff to complete installations efficiently and professionallyQualifications:Minimum 3+ years of experience installing PLC cabinets and control panelsHands-on experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley systemsProficient in wire tracing, multimeter use, and continuity testingStrong understanding of low-voltage and 120V electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagramsComfortable with extensive travel and working in secured environmentsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamIf you are interested in learning more about this role, please submit your resume for immediate consideration!INDHPowered by JazzHR9hDkI7LfyU
