SECURITY OFFICERSUMMARYThe Security Officerwill maintain the safety of all employees, guests and clients atshows, events, festivals, tours, one-offs and venues through constantpatrol, observation and documentation. This position will be first point of contact for all security related issues and will control the diffusion of incidents at the event. The Security Officer will also assist with customer service requests.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor assigned area of venue on foot. Observe, report,and control ongoing activity keeping track of unusual occurrences.Assist with the ejection or control of unruly, disruptive, intoxicated guests.Monitor entry and access point for the venue. Ensure all guests and employees have appropriate access to be in each specific area.Escortartists, VIPs, guests and employees to protect and prevent unwanted attention, disruption, incident or injury.Respond immediately to fire control center to locate, acknowledge and silence alarm. Check signal area, report and reset alarm. Enact fire safety/evacuations when necessary.Respond, observe and document all medical situations and request EMT/medical personnel. Assist with minor first aid situations. Coordinate transportation for friends and family of afflicted when necessary.Assist with all customer service needs before, during and after each show,including:directions, instructions, information, escorts and medical.Screen and confirm all employees, vendors, delivery personnel, guests and artistsentering venue to ensureappropriate access. Review andveritydocumentation to ensurevalidity.Log all activity, movement and repairs in appropriate log ensuring all incidents are accurately documented.QUALIFICATIONSA minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency 1 - 2 years of related workexperienceStronginterpersonal,verbaland writtencommunicationskills.Expert organizational, leadership and time management skills.Ability to qualify and be issued a security officer license.Ability to obtain and maintain a GuardCardCPR and AED certificationKnowledge of rules and regulations with good understanding of right and wrongMust be able to stand for long periods oftimeMust be able to work long hours including nights, weekends and someholidaysKnowledge of music industry and live eventspreferred2. SECURITY SUPERVISORSUMMARYThe SecuritySupervisorwillprotect the safety and security of AEGPresents'guests, employees, clients and assets.This position willmonitor and record activity made on the venue security cameras and by guests, employees, and clients at the event. The Security Supervisor will ensure that any potential threat is diffused and that safety is maintained for all parties at the event.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor and record activity on venue security cameras. Ensure that all cameras are working properly and unobstructed.Monitor guests, visitors and workers toanticipate any potential threat to AEGPresentsproperty, employees, guests or clients.Maintain Daily Activity Log with information reported by security team members. Record equipment repairs, guest incidents and near miss situations.Actively patrol building to ensure venue doors are secured and therearen'tany pressing securityissues.Prepare and maintain daily log sheets for team radios and key cards for team.Prepare non-show deployment. Obtain pertinent informationfrom previous shift to anticipate needs of current shift.Maintain fire control system to ensuresystem is in proper working order. Activate system during shows/events and inactive when venue is dark.Monitor housekeepingactivity, unlock and open doors, and provide escorts for housekeeping when necessary.Issuedaily credentialsforemployees, workers and visitors when necessary. Maintain visitors log, ensuring guests sign in and out.May be responsible for assisting with group tours, delivery check in and delivery logged.Oversee and manage staff including, hiring, scheduling, timecard management and terminations.QUALIFICATIONSA minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree Preferred) 3- 5 years of related work experienceLaw enforcement or security experienceStronginterpersonal,verbaland writtencommunicationskillsExpert organizational, leadership and time management skillsMust be able to stand for long periods oftimeMust be able to work long hours including nights, weekends and someholidaysAbility to qualify and be issued a security officerlicenseKnowledgeable ofOSHA/ADA laws and regulationsManagement experience3. SECURITY MANAGERSUMMARYTheManager Security will ensure the safety of all persons at the eventat any given time. This individual will alsoprovideproper staff trainingon a variety of different hazards or situations that can occur during anyevent.They willbein charge of recruiting, scheduling, overseeing and evaluating staff and making sure they areup to date on policies and procedures. They will also oversee the maintenance of records, make sureall credentials are up to date andwork with other agencies to set up training.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESInteract with all departmentsto make sure everyoneis aware of all safety/security protocols.Train new and current employees on risk management policies and procedures for festivals, shows, venuesand one-offs.Responsible for various types of onsiteincidents.Manage incidents according to proper policies and procedures, create incident reports and fileaccordingly.(e.g., medical emergencies and disruptive guests).Maintain proper degrees of credentialing throughout the festivals, shows, venuesand one-offs.Implementing ABI for security staffing, creating deployments for security companies, managing the ABI security audit team, perform security audits at events with significant deployments, supervising team and assisting with security planning at festivals, shows, venues and one-offs.Oversee and manage staff including, hiring, scheduling, timecard management and terminations.QUALIFICATIONSA minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree Preferred)5 yearsof related work experienceLaw enforcement or security experienceExceptional computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe softwareStronginterpersonal,verbaland writtencommunicationskillsExpert organizational, leadership and time management skillsKnowledgeableof OSHA/ADA laws and regulationsStrong management or leadership backgroundAbility to qualify and be issued a security officerlicenseDemonstrated success in teambuildingManagement experienceUnderstanding of Guard Cards4. FIRE SAFETY OFFICERSUMMARYThe Fire Safety Officer will be responsible forfacilitating compliance and helping minimize hazardous situations. Additionally, this position will conduct regular inspections to ensure safety procedures are taken.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESMonitorthefire panelduring eventsin case issues ariseand ensurethepanel is reset after all events.Oversee installations, maintenance, etc. Conduct regular inspectionsand be on-sitefor all events toensure safe housekeeping are undertaken.Develophealth and safetyproceduresfor evacuation in case of fireand makean announcement over the PA on instructions on how to evacuate building.Report incidents involving fire system, alarm trigger, and any maintenance requiredtoGeneral Manager.QUALIFICATIONSA minimum education level of:High School Diploma or its equivalency A minimum of3-5years of related work experience.Certificate S98 or S95 required.Proven experience as a Safety Officer.Knowledge of OSHA/ADA laws and regulations.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite(Outlook, Word, and Excel)Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Pay Scale: $18.21 - $25.71/hourBonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the currentbonus plan requirements.Benefits: This position may be eligible for benefits (ACAqualification).AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee's job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.
