The Security Technology team works closely with the teams responsible for running and maintaining our global infrastructure and enterprise. Our mission is to secure the foundations of all Cloudflare production and enterprise systems.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced security practitioner to help us in our mission to help build a better internet. As part of our team you will be expected to:Work with our engineering IT and infrastructure teams to secure the entire Cloudflare global network and enterpriseDeploy and manage security tools that help address security risk at a global scaleCollaborate with the Compliance team to ensure adherence to standardsEnsure our global infrastructure is secure from all attacks ranging from script kiddies to nation statesThis role does currently require 2 days in-office a week.Examples of desirable skills knowledge and experienceBachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Cybersecurity related technical field or equivalent practical experience3 years of previous experience in cyber securityStrong relationship building with cross functional teamsExperience working with corporate Information Technology platforms and systemsSolid understanding of security practices for Linux MacOS Windows systemsBuilds and nurtures robust working relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levelsTranslates complex ambiguous security situations into clear actionable requirements to drive alignment and decision makingExperience with risk review and evaluations of configurationsFamiliarity with programming/scripting languagesBonus PointsStrong Linux system experience from user-space to kernel-spaceSecuring the software supply chain from workstation to deploymentNetworking fundamentals such as TCP/IP secure design and segmentationCross-functional governance experience with programs like PCI-DSS FedRAMPDeep understanding of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) functionalitiesExperience with public cloud security best practices (GCP Azure etc.)Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g. Python Terraform Ansible)Advanced programming experience (Python Golang Bash etc.)Experience with securing Google WorkspaceWhat Makes Cloudflare SpecialWere not just a highly ambitious large-scale technology company.
