Security at External SA Recycling

SA Recycling is looking for a trustworthy Security who oversees the protection and safeguarding of the facility personnel assets and works to promote and maintain a safe and secure working environment. Proactively addresses security concerns implements action plans and ensures related policies are consistently enforced. Will also be responsible for inbound and outbound materials.Key Responsibilities:Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct routine patrols of the premises both inside and out monitor security cameras and other surveillance equipment.Incident response: Respond promptly to alarms emergencies and any suspicious activity which may include safety hazards fires or medical incidents.Access Control: Enforce policies for entering and exiting the property. Includes checking for authorized access.Documentation: Write detailed incident reports and maintains accurate daily logs.Emergency coordination: Communicate with management and coordinate with law enforcement fire departments or other emergency services as needed.Other Duties:Check for and report safety hazards.Assists with security-related tasks and inquiriesInspect incoming and outgoing employees or visitorsInspect material leaving the yard to ensure that all material has been weighed and matches a corresponding weight ticket.Work independently or as part of a small team.Maintain a professional appearance and demeanorFollow security procedures which may include setting and deactivating alarms.Attends the workplace regularly reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite.Working hours may include evenings holidays or weekends depending on deadline requirements weather events and other special events.Communicates effectively both orally and in writing: defines problems collects data establishes facts draws valid conclusions and effectively presents information to top management.
