Security Guard (Property Maintenance Specialist)Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAbility to interact with othersPatrol industrial and commercial subsidiary company locations of ACNR, Inc. to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and theftEnsure security of doors, windows, and gatesMonitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premisesAnswer alarms and investigate disturbancesMay also be assigned to various locations including the main gate areaExperienceUp to one (1) year security experienceJob RequirementsMust be 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or GED, preferredValid driver’s license and clean driving recordReliable transportationRegular and punctual attendanceEffective communication is requiredMust be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independentlyMust be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background checkAbility to work in the United States without sponsorshipJob Schedule and Physical DemandsMust be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires (subject to applicant’s religious practices)Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule on a 24/7 basis (subject to the applicant’s religious practices)Ability/willingness to work any shift assignedAbility to lift floor-to-waist and waist-to-overheadAbility to push/pull as neededStanding, bending, step climbing, crawling and working overheadAbility to perform heavy labor and lift 50+ pounds as needed
