Job Description:A Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.Summary:The core job duties & responsibilities of a Security Agent include but are not limited to:Ensuring the security of our guests and propertyAssisting Guests in emergency or security related situationsCompleting incident reportsPatrol the interior of and the perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks security risks and undesirable conditionsRespond to emergency situations including but not limited to safety hazards fires medical emergencies and threats to life and/or propertyInitiates preliminary investigations into incidents as neededRespond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely friendly and efficient mannerThe Required Skill Set for a Security Agent include but are not limited to:Must be able to speak read write and understand EnglishMust have good communication skills both verbal and written.Must possess basic computer skills.Ability to complete assigned tasks without close supervision.Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally.Smile and greet the guests as you encounter them throughout your shift.Must be able to clock in and out for shifts and breaks responsibly.Must have a uniform that is clean and properly worn with your name tag.
