Begin a career as part of the administrative team utilizing your skills and abilities to change the life of a Job Corps studentFacility name:Tongue Point Job Corps CenterLocation: Astoria ORSchedules Available: Varies Part-time 6:00 am to 4:00 omBenefit package includes:401(k) retirement planProfessional development assistanceCareer advancement opportunitiesJob responsibilities:Patrols Center grounds manages front desk for guest sign-in and temporary badges distribution monitors that all staff and students wear ID badges and ensures the safety of staff students and visitors. Control surveillance identification monitoring investigation and reporting of all matters pertaining to center property facilities students staff and visitors.Essential functions:Ensure safety and security of staff students buildings and property through patrols inspections and investigations.Maintain logs; write incident reports and accident documentation.Conduct searches when required; assure accountability of students; complete student and visitor check-in and check-out procedures.Conduct telephone switchboard and radio dispatch duties at main gate.Provide positive quality customer service to students and staff.Transport students in rural or urban environments as needed.Assist with development of new safety policies and procedures.Participate in student employability programs and activities.Education and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or GED.One years security experience.Have the ability to occasionally lift and carry 50-70 pounds and frequently climb stairs for patrols investigations and emergencies.A valid driver license in the state where the facility is located with an acceptable driving record is required unless waived by management.Why:Make a positive impact in your community by doing meaningful work that results in a rewarding career.Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
