Security Specialist at Our Company

Overview:Signalink is looking for a Security Specialist to serve as an integral member of a team of government military and contractor personnel that provides programmatic logistical and technical support in the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) G2 (Security) Office.Responsibilities & Duties:Review coordinate and monitor implementation of security policies and standard operating proceduresDevelop and carry out local directives and guidance while maintaining program recordsSet up internal security programs such as instruction and procedures for controlling and storing documents office closing procedures and locking and unlocking procedures for safes and desksPerform inspections and reviews of classified containers to determine if appropriate security measures are taken to identify mark handle store transport and ship classified material and the means methods and procedures of their destructionOther duties as assignedRequirements:Minimum of a High School Diploma15 years of applicable experience in a government or contractor settingMust currently hold a DoD security clearance at the top secret levelWorking knowledge of Army security proceduresAbility to travel 10% of the timeDesired Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited college or universityAbility to communicate both verbally and in writing with internal external technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levelsPrior experience in an Army program officeWhat We Offer:Our industry-leading benefits package goes above and beyond competitive salary commensuration for those just beginning their career and seasoned professionals alike.
