Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) at Argus Home Healthcare

Position: OT - Home HealthPosition SummaryProvides occupational therapy services in clients homes as prescribed by the physician and offers consultation and education to agency staff.Level of ResponsibilityWorks under agency policies and client care plans. Reports to the Argus Home Care administrator or designee and supervises assigned personnel.ResponsibilitiesPatient Care:Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations including OASIS assessments.Develop and update care plans with the physician and care team.Identify barriers set goals provide treatment education and equipment.Coordinate services and plan discharge.Evaluate care effectiveness.Documentation:Record evaluations treatments and client responses promptly.Document conference outcomes and quality assurance data.Attend care conferences staff meetings and in-service programs.Provide education and consultation to clients families and staff.Supervise aides therapy assistants and paraprofessionals.Maintain professional knowledge through education professional organizations and workshops.Perform other related duties as needed.Qualifications : Position QualificationsActive Colorado OT licenseGraduate of an occupational therapy curriculum approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy AssociationExperience in Home Health preferred but not requiredValid Drivers License & clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)Additional Information : Benefits:PAID training!Flexible scheduleWork - Life balance no overnight services401kPay: PRN $75 - $85 per visitRemote Work : NoEmployment Type : Part-time Key Skills Body Mechanics,Early Intervention,Acute Care,Communication skills,HIPAA,Autism Experience,Computer Literacy,Pediatrics Experience,Home Care,Heavy Lifting,Patient Service Experience,Medicare Experience: years Vacancy: 1
