Selector (3rd Shift) with Piece Rate Incentive at Prime Source Foods

Join our dynamic team as a 3rd Shift Food Distribution Center Selector where you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate selection of food products for distribution. If you are detail-oriented reliable and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment we encourage you to apply.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship.Must be flexible and able to work Sun-Thurs starting at 6 pm until the completion of work.Must be 18 years of age or older.Occasional heavy lifting is required.Must be able to lift 175 pounds up to 100 pounds; often reaching up to 72 inches; constantly bend and twist.Hand-selecting orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures with most time spent in the cooler.Select and assemble food products according to order specifications accurately and efficiently following proper handling and safety practices.Loading right on the truck for next-day deliveries.Once certified operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport products when needed.Maintain and safely operate all assigned mechanical equipment including but not limited to electric pallet jack and forklift.Material handling experience is helpful.Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiencyAbility to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift in a fast-paced environment.Meet daily productivity targets to maximize piece rate incentives.Solid reading writing and communication skills to effectively perform job requirements and adhere to safety regulations.Responsibility trustworthiness and the ability to work with little direct supervision.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills and Qualifications:Previous experience in warehouse or distribution center operations preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and accuracyPhysical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items regularlyGood communication skillsFlexibility to work the 3rd shift schedule (overnight hours)Basic math skills and familiarity with warehouse equipmentRequirementsThe PRIME ExampleOur MISSION is to meet our customers needs by providing cost-competitive center-of-the-plate products with flexible and efficient distribution services.Our VISION is to be New Englands most valued provider of center-of-the-plate products through superior sourcing practices product knowledge and service options.Our VALUES and success rely on relationships built on trust fairness respect honesty and teamwork.Perks at its Prime: Youll enjoy great employee appreciation perks including annual employee outings and events employee appreciation days Holiday Parties volunteer opportunities and more!
