Above all.Position OverviewWere looking for a visionary creative leader with at least six years of experience in PR marketing or communications agencies with a strong background in Financial & Professional Services clients. As a Senior Account Manager on our Financial & Professional Services Team you will lead 45 account teams overseeing everything from high-level client strategy to execution across media influencers and social channels.Strong writing skills in-depth knowledge of the financial and professional services sector and proficiency in digital and social media are essential. We value forward-thinking results-driven programs that create meaningful business impact. Youll inspire and energize your teams helping Highwire deliver exceptional results for Financial & Professional Services clients. Experience pitching and onboarding new clients within this sector is preferred.What Youll Do Client Service / ManagementServe as the day-to-day account lead for up to 5 Financial & Professional Services clients ensuring exceptional client service and account management.Direct teams of 510 members from interns to VPs managing workflow priorities and team development.Provide strategic counsel aligned with each clients business objectives and financial/professional services goals.Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier financial business and industry trade press.Actively contribute to Financial & Professional Services practice groups sharing industry insights and challenging junior staff to think strategically.Oversee PR programs from kickoff to goal achievement ensuring measurable impact.Set ambitious achievable client goals through creative campaigns and amplification techniques that tie directly to clients business objectives.Develop and manage monthly/annual budgets and team priority allocations.Ensure accurate client billing recoup client expenses and maintain account status.Participate in program execution as appropriate including writing/editing media relations social media digital communications and crisis support.Serve as an ambassador for the agency and our Financial & Professional Services practice. Agency OperationsContribute to company growth through new business development organic client expansion and creation of client case studies within the Financial & Professional Services sector.Attend networking events seminars and conferences relevant to financial services professional services and communicationsincluding occasional out-of-hours eventsto maintain professional development and build relationships.Lead at least one agency-wide training annually and participate in trainings as needed.Establish and maintain a focus area within agency support such as digital strategy social media or sector-specific communications initiatives. Team DevelopmentManage up to 2 direct reports set goals conduct quarterly check-ins and deliver annual reviews.Act as a coach across account teams by teaching providing guidance recognizing achievements delegating effectively and mapping work to strategy and client goals.Maintain a respectful enthusiastic and professional attitude toward coworkers clients and external partners.Lead by example and ensure teammates have clarity on roles responsibilities and Financial & Professional Services objectives. Primary ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-level account management and strategic counsel specifically for Financial & Professional Services clients.Execute programs as needed supporting writing media relations social digital and crisis efforts.Mentor and develop team members ensuring alignment with agency standards and client objectives.Support agency growth through client development business opportunities and thought leadership in the Financial & Professional Services sector.What You BringMinimum of six years of experience in PR marketing or communications agencies with at least one year as an Account Manager.Prior experience managing Financial & Professional Services clients in an agency setting.Organized self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.Established media relationships and proven experience pitching feature placements for financial and professional services clients.Strong experience developing PR plans and campaigns for Financial & Professional Services clients.Solid understanding of staffing budgets and ability to make staffing recommendations.Ability to prioritize responsibilities based on impact timelines workflow and client goals.Commitment to self-improvement and proactive in suggesting solutions.Exceptional communication and leadership skills with a track record of inspiring teams and delivering results in the Financial & Professional Services sector.The salary range for this position is $90000 to $125000 with the final offer based on a combination of factors including education relevant experience skills prior training internal equity and local geographic market data.
