Senior Accountant-Audit Readiness at Cherry Bekaert

We are seeking a Senior Accountant on a project basis to support audit readiness. This role will focus on preparing audit schedules and assisting with key accounting functions during a critical period.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain detailed audit schedules to ensure compliance and readiness.Assist with bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.Support fixed asset accounting including tracking and reconciliation.Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate financial data for audits.Contribute to process improvements and documentation for audit purposes.QualificationsStrong accounting background with hands-on experience in audit preparation.MRI experience a plus.Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables VLOOKUP complex formulas).Public accounting experience preferred.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.IND123Required Experience:Senior IC Key Skills Auditing,Accounting Software,Data Analytics,GAAP,Accounting,Analysis Skills,SOX,Financial Analysis,Financial Report Interpretation,Internal Audits,Mentoring,GAAS Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
