Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Senior Accountant for an opportunity with a leading, high profile organization in the DFW area. This role serves as a key financial partner to operational leadership, driving strategic decision-making, financial planning, and process improvements across the business. Responsibilities: Partner with senior leadership to manage departmental financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Prepare and analyze financial reports, including cost analysis, capital project evaluations, and scenario modeling Oversee daily financial operations such as accruals, account analysis, and funding oversight for contracts and projects Provide guidance on complex accounting and financial matters, ensuring alignment with GAAP and organizational standards Develop and enhance processes to improve financial efficiency and reporting accuracy Lead financial review meetings, presenting insights and actionable recommendations to leadership Mentor and support junior finance team members while fostering a strong financial discipline across departments Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or business analysis Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial modeling concepts such as NPV and IRR Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar) and advanced Excel skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders CPA highly preferred Compensation and Benefits: Employment Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard business hours Location: On-site Salary: $107,000 - $122,000 annually, based on experience Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off If you are an experienced payroll professional with a proven track record of leadership and expertise, we invite you to apply today and take the next step in your career with a company committed to innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
