OverviewSusquehanna is currently looking for a Senior Accountant Digital Assets to join our Accounting team in our Bala Cynwyd PA headquarters. This role combines traditional accounting principles with emerging technologies ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance in a rapidly evolving digital economy.You will have end to end responsibility gathering all of the information necessary to prepare and manage financial statements and associated financial reporting.To thrive in this role youll need to be a self-starter who cares about details and deadlines and someone who can stay organized in an intense and fast-paced work environment. Our teams are highly collaborative and you can expect to work closely with colleagues both in the U.S. and globally to meet our team goals. In this role you will:Prepare & reconcile monthly journal entries general ledgers and financial statements ensuring compliance with IFRS or relevant reporting standardsGain an understanding of the underlying business activity and conceptualize the flow of data from trade to financial statementInterface with external auditors regulators and other internal departments as neededPrepare analytical procedures on underlying data and provide explanation for variancesAfter a period of development within the department be responsible for conducting comprehensive entity reviews and ensuring their accuracy and regulatory complianceWhat were looking for8 years of accounting experience with at least 12 years in digital assets or blockchain-related finance.Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
