Reporting to the Director of Strategies and Finance this is an excellent opportunity to transition out of public accounting and directly contribute to building a scalable corporate accounting and finance function with opportunities for upward mobility! Youll work on improving financial reporting processes data integrity and systemswhile learning from experienced leadership in a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture.Key Responsibilities:Assist in preparing accurate and GAAP-compliant financial statements and monthly reporting packages.Support month-end close activities including journal entries accruals and account reconciliations.Help develop scalable processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain data accuracy and ensure financial integrity.Contribute to ongoing audit preparation and financial systems improvements.Participate in ad hoc analysis and special projects aligned with the companys growth.What Were Looking For:24 years of experience in public accounting from ideally a Big 4 or Top 10 firm.Must have Bachelors degree in Accounting; would considering Finance Economics and Business Administration.Active CPA license or current CPA candidacy with intent to complete certification this year is nice but not required.Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting best practices.Tech-savvy mindset with an eagerness to improve processes and implement systems.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.A collaborative proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
