The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit preparation. This role will play an important part in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting while ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory reporting standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment supporting monthly close, financial analysis, and audit readiness.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit preparation. This role will play an important part in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting while ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory reporting standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment supporting monthly close, financial analysis, and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with GAAP and applicable accounting standards
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies or posting errors
- Assist with preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and consolidated financial statements
- Analyze monthly financial results and provide variance explanations
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy of reported cash balances
- Support preparation of quarterly and annual statutory financial reports
- Assist with external and internal audit processes, including preparation of requested schedules
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting processes
- Experience preparing journal entries and performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred:
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Experience supporting regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, or financial services
