This position works closely with foreign business partners functional partners and will have exposure to EXSIFs CFO and parent company. The position is responsible for ensuring all management and parent company financial reporting is prepared accurately and timely and in compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. Hybrid position one day(Tuesdays) in the Chicago office.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with month-end quarter-end and year-end closing activities including preparation of journal entries reconciliations and monthly financial analysis.Accounting for foreign branch offices and communications with local staff at branch offices.Review reporting schedules prepared by domestic and foreign business partners for accuracy.Preparation and analysis of monthly Product and Segment Reports.Assist with recurring parent company deliverables such as monthly/quarterly financial and tax reporting.Preparation of SG&A and operational accruals and management reporting materialsInterpret analyze and communicate financial information such as variance analysis clearly and concisely.Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and are effective.Evaluate accounting processes controls and reporting for continuous improvement opportunities.Support internal and external audits.QualificationsBachelors Degree in Accounting CPA preferredMinimum of 6 years of accounting experience combined public and private experience preferredExperience with month-end close and financial/business analyticsGlobal accounting and operations experience including foreign currency accounting is a plusSolid analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly organized with a strong attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Process-oriented with a passion for developing best practiceProven IT skills including experience with Power Queries and databasesSolid computer skills including MS Office Suite Excel proficient (VLOOKUPs Sum-ifs and Pivot tables etc.)Experience with multi-national entity work environment and foreign exchange matters (preferred)Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics (preferred)Experience with Once Stream consolidation platform (plus)Experience with designing and creating reports in the Microsoft Dynamics report writer (preferred)Pay Range: $103500-$126500Please note the duties listed are not set for purposes of limiting the assignment of work.
