Senior Accountant at Teksky

Opportunity Snapshot: Were looking for a dependable detail-oriented senior accountant to join our team and support our day-to-day accounting operations. This is a highly visible hands-on role that works closely with the VP of Finance and provides key support across financial operations and administrative areas. Youll play a vital part in keeping our accounting function running smoothly allowing leadership to focus on strategic initiatives and business growth. This position is 100% on-site at our Milwaukee office. A Day in the Life: * Perform bank reconciliations general ledger maintenance and month-end journal entries * Manage accounts payable and receivable ensuring accurate and timely processing * Assist with the month-end close process and preparation of financial schedules * Build and maintain standard reporting tools to support business decision-making * Provide audit and administrative support to the VP of Finance and President as needed * Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies * Recommend and implement process improvements for operational efficiency * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations HR and procurement What You Need to Succeed: * Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field * 15 years of hands-on accounting experience * Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting operations * Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel (Power BI is a plus) * Highly organized with excellent attention to detail * Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with executive leadership * A self-starter with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement Key Skills General Ledger Reconciliation,Accounting Software,Account Analysis,GAAP,Journal Entries,QuickBooks,General Ledger Accounting,Accounting,Account Reconciliation,SOX,Microsoft Dynamics GP,NetSuite Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
