Senior Accounting Manager

We're looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join our Austin-based finance team. This role will help drive the monthly close process, manage financial reporting for multiple entities, and support our ongoing acquisition activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly close process for multiple brands within the LaunchPad Home Group portfolio
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements in QuickBooks Online
• Perform budget and variance analysis, providing insights to leadership
• Partner with operations and finance leadership to ensure timely, accurate reporting across all entities
• Assist with accounting integration for new acquisitions, ensuring alignment with corporate standards
• Manage and mentor three direct reports, supporting professional development and accuracy in deliverables
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes
• Support the Controller with special projects, audits, and strategic initiatives as needed

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred

Experience:

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and multi-entity consolidations
• Strong understanding of GAAP and monthly close processes
• Experience in acquisition or integration accounting strongly preferred
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and deadlines
