Property Management Compliance Affordable Housing at Solari Enterprises

Position Overview:We currently have a Compliance Specialist position available in Orange CA 92867. The position is an exempt level role that requires the use of independent judgment and decision-making skills as well as educational expertise to maintain compliance of the regulatory requirements of their assigned properties. Compliance Specialist works under General Supervision of the Department Director. This role is responsible for supervision training and employment recommendations of assigned Community Managers with regard to compliance reporting and activities. These duties are a usual and customary part of the role.The position is based at our Home Office in Orange CA and requires the Compliance Specialist to travel to properties in Los Angeles and San Diego County.Who We Are:Solari Enterprises Inc. is a full-service property management company that specializes in multifamily affordable housing.Required Qualifications:2 years of direct experience with Section 42 (Tax Credit) and/ or Section 8 is required or;Experience from Mortgage Insurance or Financial industries working with compliance and regulations will have transferable skills that will be consideredMust exhibit professional appearance compatible with company image positive attitude energetic assertive and capable of being a role model for subordinatesMust be able to travel to properties in Los Angeles CountyMust be detail orientedAbility to interact with a wide range of personalitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be computer literatureExperience with Microsoft Office SuiteReliable transportationValid Drivers licenseMust have proof of Auto InsurancePreferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree preferredYardi software knowledge a plusWe prefer Team Member to possess the following certifications or are able to attain them after their introductory period is completed:CPO Certification- Section 8 onlySHCM Designation- Section 42 onlyRAM Certification or similar certificationFHC ( Fair Housing Coordinator) CertificationCompensation:$33 hourlyPaid Holidays Vacation and Sick TimeMedical Dental Vision and lifeMatching 401kEOE Key Skills Databases,Inventory Control,Law Enforcement,Warehouse Experience,Computer Literacy,Business requirements,Sharepoint,Training & Development,Property Management,Public Speaking,Supervising Experience,Stocking Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
