Senior Analyst Multi-housing Capital Markets Research MidwestThe Senior Analyst will join JLLs capital markets research team partnering with multi-housing / Living sector business stakeholders to analyze Midwest U.S. capital markets liquidity and pricing trends capital formation trends and themes related to the multi-housing / Living sector and Living alternative sectors. The Senior Analyst will report to the Senior Manager Capital Markets Research and will collaborate with various stakeholders across different lines and/or alternative property sectors.The Senior Analyst will work in collaboration with a cross-functional team of property sector and business line researchers each specializing in different commercial real estate property sectors and investment areas. This position will lead projects and initiatives that span Midwest U.S. multi-housing / Living capital markets and Living alternatives including creating and updating capital markets research presentations content and analysis on the overall investment market liquidity and pricing trends capital formation trends and economic themes.JLL Research consists of 570 full-time professionals globally working as the largest research group in the real estate industry and among the best of any worldwide professional services firm. We tell the real estate story define the market and inspire action.What this job involvesServe as lead research point of contact for JLLs Midwest multi-housing leaders and regional multi-housing teams partnering on strategic pitches and client presentationsActively participate in pitch preparation and content creation for producers to leverage in deal execution working with local market researchers to demonstrate JLLs superior market knowledgeProactively partner with the research team and capital markets leaders on the development of ad hoc data analysis and bespoke research that exemplifies JLLs industry-leading thought leadershipWork across business lines and research functions on fee-based client advisory projects leveraging internal and 3rd party data sources to create research that will be used by clients to take to investment committees and execute on business plansMonitor development pipelines track major transactions and become an expert on the local economy job and industry makeup and demographics to tell a compelling story about Midwestern marketsCollect and disseminate monthly or quarterly talking points and research slide decks related to the Living sector working in conjunction with sector co-leadsDive into real-time economic financial and capital markets-related topics to build data and market narrative on ad hoc topics that emerge throughout the yearWork with designated Living Alternatives sector leads discuss strategic research objectives and execute on bespoke research for use in pitches and presentationsEstablish and regularly update national deck for designated Living Alternatives sector.Desired skills and experience for this jobBachelors degree in business finance economics real estate or related field desiredTwo to three years in commercial real estate business analysis research or related fieldWorking knowledge of commercial real estate dynamics and financial markets is preferredStrong organizational analytical skills attention to detail and problem-solving abilityExcellent command of Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)Ability to efficiently multi-task prioritize and manage work in a dynamic environment with senior stakeholdersStrong quantitative skillset with ability to identify new insights and trends through data analyticsCollaborative attitude and willingness to both work independently and as part of a dynamic teamEffective written and oral communication skillsA desire to work within a diverse collaborative and driven professional environmentEstimated compensation for this position:70000..00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
